2026 SOTX Summer Games
The 2026 Special Olympics Texas Statewide Summer Games will be held in Melissa, TX! This event will include competitions in: Athletics, Cycling, FUNdamental Sports, Soccer, and Tennis. SOTX wants excited, passionate, and eager volunteers to come support our amazing athletes from across Texas! This May, Special Olympics Texas’ annual Summer Games will take place in Melissa, TX, from April 30th to May 2nd. During the Summer Games competition, athletes compete in Cycling, FUNdamental Sports, Soccer, Tennis, and Track and Field.
The Melissa and Greater DFW community is invited to participate in the event, which will feature an Opening Ceremonies with Special Olympics Texas speakers and special guests. Attendance is always free to the public, and details will be found closer to the event on the Special Olympics Texas website: WWW.SOTX.ORG

Volunteering with SOTX is a family-friendly event! So bring your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews- the whole family! And help create world-class competition for the Athletes! Please note that anyone under 15 must be accompanied by an adult when volunteering.
We will be sending out communication concerning parking, check-in, and all other information volunteers will need as we get closer to the event. Stay tuned!
