2026 Area 01 - RGV Volleyball Competition

Special Olympics Texas RGV Area will host the 2026 Volleyball Competition on Saturday, October 17, 2026 in Los Fresnos, Texas.

This event will begin with Opening Ceremonies at 9:30AM, followed by competition starting around 9:45am!  Exact schedule of Events will be available closer to the competition.

We encourage the community to come out and cheer on our athletes as they compete in this year's competition. Special Olympics Texas events are open to the public and we encourage the attendance of families, volunteers, community partners, and spectators!

 

Whether you’ve volunteered with us before or this is your first time, we welcome you to join us! Demonstrations and training will be provided day-of-event at the start of your shift to ensure a positive volunteer experience for you!

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Please arrive 20 mins prior to your assigned shift to get instructions and shown designated area.

• We will be providing water for all volunteers but please bring a reusable water bottle.

• Please wear comfortable, appropriate clothing and foot wear for indoor gym activities.
