2026-2027 Young Athletes Programs

Welcome to the 2026-2027 Young Athletes Programs volunteer registration page. Using this online registration, you will be able to view upcoming programs and register to volunteer. To volunteer, you must create an account and complete the Class B Form prior to registering for a volunteer shift.

Young Athletes Information: 

Our Young Athletes is an inclusive sports play program for children ages 2-7 with and without intellectual disabilities. Young Athletes focuses on gross motor development and sports play that teaches skills like balance, jumping, kicking, walking & running, trapping & catching, throwing, striking, and foundational skills while being introduced to a variety of different sports. Volunteers will engage with athletes and families to help facilitate activity stations or games throughout each weekly guided play session. 

Volunteer Requirements: 

Volunteers must be at least 14 years old.

Volunteers must commit to majority of all weeks of program.

Atlantic County - Stockton University Young Athletes Program, Saturdays

Bergen County - Johnson Library Young Athletes Program, Saturdays

Bergen County – Midland Park Library Young Athletes Program, Tuesdays

Essex County - Seton Hall University Young Athletes Program, Tuesdays

Gloucester County – Mullica Hill Library Young Athletes Program, Saturdays

Hudson County – Saint Peter’s University Young Athletes Program, Mondays

Mercer County – Lawrenceville Young Athletes Program, Saturdays

Somerset County – Franklin Twp Young Athletes Program, Saturdays

Sussex County - Sussex Young Athletes Program, Sundays

Union County – Cranford Young Athletes Program, Saturdays

Union County - Kean University Young Athletes Program, Tuesdays
