Unified Schools State Robotics Championship

Thank you for your interest in volunteering - we appreciate your support!

**All volunteer roles open to the public are FULL.  

If you are an ADULT, and work, or have a background in technology, engineering, robotics or similar, we ARE in need of Judges and Referees.  These roles are hidden and require an access code.  If you would like the access code, please send an email with a brief note of your background to sgreenwood@sowa.org.

Referees: Familiarity with robotics competitions/rules preferred.  Officiates each match, enforces rules.  Instructions and rules clarification will be discussed with all Judges and Referees in a virtual meeting prior to the event.

Judges: Background in Technology requested.  Talk with each team about their robots, determine what award will be given to each team in each division.  Instructions and rules clarification will be discussed with all Judges and Referees in a virtual meeting prior to the event.

 

Due to a potential conflict of interest, high schoolers with a robotics background are not eligible for these roles as they'd potentially be judging their peers/classmates.
