FUNdamental Sports- Swimming - 10/10/2026 2:00:00 PM
Description:
Individuals must be willing to get into water with athletes and families. Background in swimming is preferred, but not necessary.
Roles Include:
1 Gate Keeper-on deck; checks in athletes and keeps them in order of their assigned times.
1 Time Keeper-on deck; works with athlete at Station 1 and then passes the athlete on to the "Entry & Exit Volunteers"
2 Entry & Exit Volunteers - on deck & in water; help select/put on the life jacket for the athlete; help athlete with water entry and exit; give entering athlete to Station Volunteer; receive exiting athlete from Station Volunteer and assist with exit.
4 Station Volunteers” - in water; 1 volunteer with 1 athlete & their parent/coach/escort; receive entering athlete from “Entry & Exit Volunteers”; assist with the same athlete through Stations 2, 3, 4, and 5; hand off athlete to “Entry & Exit Volunteers”
