Description:
Use a stopwatch to time running and walking races.
Start timing when the race begins and stop when each athlete crosses the finish line.
Record finish times clearly and accurately on the score sheet.
Work with other timers to confirm times.
Measure distances for field events such as long jump, softball throw, or shot put.
Measure from the take-off line or mark to where the object lands.
Record the correct distance on the score sheet
