Role: Opening Eyes (Day 1) - 5/16/2026 1:00:00 PM
Description: Help Special Olympics athletes by providing free vision screenings and assisting them in selecting prescription glasses, sport goggles, or sunglasses. Volunteers support eye health education and ensure athletes receive the eyewear they need to see clearly and perform safely. Licensed optometrists, ophthalmologists, and optometry students are encouraged to participate.
Job Location Name: Lipscomb University, Bennett Campus Center
Parking: Free parking will be available onsite. Additional details will be shared as the event date approaches.
Where to Go: Please arrive 5 minutes early and check in with at the registration tent. Volunteers under age 16 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or chaperone. Please contact the event coordinator to get them registered.

What to Bring: Wear athletic attire and closed-toe shoes (you’ll be on your feet). Bring a filled water bottle to stay hydrated.
