Description:
A General First Aid Volunteer plays an essential role in supporting the health and safety of Special Olympics Texas athletes during sports competitions. Volunteers assist with basic first aid needs such as minor cuts, scrapes, and hydration support, while helping monitor athletes for signs of injury or heat-related concerns. Working alongside event staff and medical professionals, First Aid Volunteers help ensure competitions run smoothly by providing timely care, reassurance, and a calm presence for athletes, coaches, and families throughout the event.

3425 Farm to Market 1626, Kyle, Texas, 78640
Parking:
Volunteer must park along the street, there will be NO parking in the facility parking lot, as the parking lot will be used for Team Tents and athletes.
Where to Go:
Upon Arrival, please find the Volunteer Registration Tent and check in. From there you will be assigned your volunteer role for your shift, and be given a volunteer lanyard to wear during your shift. The volunteer lanyards must be returned at the end of the volunteer shift.

What to Bring:
Volunteer must be in closed toe shoes, and athletic wear. DO NOT BRING PURSES OR BACKPACKS IN. There is NOT a secure place for volunteers to store their belongings during their volunteer shift.
