Volleyball Medical Day 3 - 2/15/2026 1:30:00 PM
Description:
Medical Volunteers provide first aid support to help ensure the health and safety of athletes, volunteers, and staff during Winter Games. This role is essential to the success of the event and focuses on basic first aid response and athlete care.
Requirements:
Current First Aid certification is required
CPR/AED certification is strongly preferred
Responsibilities may include:
Providing basic first aid care as needed
Responding to minor injuries or medical concerns
Assisting with athlete health and safety monitoring
Communicating with event staff regarding medical needs
Medical volunteers will not be working alone and will have Special Olympics Texas staff assistance available at all times. This role does not require advanced medical training, but volunteers should be comfortable responding calmly and appropriately to first aid situations.
