Description:
Thousands of athletes, coaches, families, and friends representing all corners of Pennsylvania participate in Special Olympics Pennsylvania’s annual Summer Games, June 4-6 at Penn State University in State College, PA. The event is the largest statewide competition, bringing more than 2,000 athletes and 750 coaches. Competition in athletics, basketball, gymnastics, swimming and tennis highlight the three day event. Weeks of hard work and dedication in training is rewarded as athletes are cheered on and supported during competition by more than 1,000 enthusiastic volunteers.

Parking:
Parking will be available at multiple locations:
Stadium West parking lot, off of Park Avenue
Jordan East parking lot, which can be accessed off of Porter Road
Where to Go:
Once you park, please head to our Volunteer Registration tent, which is located on the corner of University Drive and Curtin Road (underneath the Bryce Jordan Center marquee). Once you check in, you'll be directed to the venue where you will be volunteering.
What to Bring:
We strongly recommend that you do not bring personal items. If you choose to, please make sure that they can be secured on your person. Water will be provided at the venues, but we encourage volunteers to bring their own water as well.
