Description:
General Set-Up Volunteers play a vital role in preparing competition venues for Special Olympics events. This role supports a wide variety of sports and playing surfaces, including courts, fields, and indoor or outdoor facilities. Setting up tents, tables, chairs and more. Volunteers help ensure the venue is safe, organized, and ready for athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators.

Parking:
Park anywhere available at the Armed Services YMCA or the public park next door.
Where to Go:
Volunteer Check-In
All volunteers are required to check in online before the event and again in person upon arrival at the competition.
Volunteers should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled shift to allow time for parking and check-in before their shift begins. Check in at the venue will be noted by either a feather flag that states "Volunteer Check-In" or by a 10x10 Tent that says "Volunteer Check-In"

Please note that secure storage will not be available for personal belongings. Volunteers are encouraged to bring only essential items, such as their keys, cell phone, and a water bottle, to their volunteer shift.
