Description:
Assigned Roles-
Bullpen: Use provided heat sheets to get athletes in proper order and prepared to go to competition
Course Judges: Assigned to various positions along the course to oversee the progression of the race
and rules.
Escorts: Lead group of athletes from the bullpen to the competition area with their proper heat sheet.
Once finished, bring the results sheet to the results area.
Timers: Responsible for timing an athlete during each race. Be alert and watch the starter to ensure
that the timer is started on time and stopwatch when any part of the athletes’ body or equipment
crosses/touches the finish line.
A volunteer training will take place on Tuesday, April 29 at 6 PM via Zoom. Please make every attempt to be at this training as we will not have enough time to efficiently train the morning of the event. Zoom Link: https://soill.zoom.us/j/83289985623

Parking:
Parking: We are asking that all volunteers park in the circle lot on the North end of Marmion Academy Drive. Once this lot is full, parking is available on Marmion’s campus on a first come first serve basis. Additional overflow parking is available at Abbey Farms, just west of Marmion Academy. Shuttle buses will be running throughout the entire day.
IMPORTANT: There will be No Parking along any roadways or in the grass at Marmion. This includes along RADDANT Road. Cars parked along the roadways, in the grass (not in the designated parking lots) as well as on RADDANT Road will be ticketed or towed.
Where to Go:
Upon arrival, you will check in at the Volunteer Table located in the Fieldhouse. At Check-In, you will provide your name and receive your volunteer t-shirt and a breakfast pastry.

What to Bring:
Please dress appropriately for the weather. If it is a sunny day, we recommend bringing sunscreen, cool clothes, and a water bottle for yourself. For rain, we will provide ponchos but recommend bringing appropriate shoes and a rain jacket and/or umbrella. The athletes THRIVE off of our volunteers and their energy, so please bring a positive attitude and lively spirit!
