Snowshoe-Afternoon & Breakdown-Genesee Regional Bank - 2/21/2026 6:00:00 PM
Description:
Ensure the second half of competition day is smooth. Snowshoe competition is estimated to finish around 3:30pm. Before competition is finished, breakdown volunteers will check in with Venue Captains to see if any sport or venue roles need assistance. If not, please check out the final races and cheer on our athletes! Once the races are complete, assist with breaking down the finish line trellis, clean up the venue and pack equipment in the UHaul.
Note: location B (no snow) is Bristol Mountain Top. Midway through games week, registered volunteers will be notified of Snowshoe location. Please plan to honor your volunteer commitment even if the location changes.
Qualifications: *Some tasks will require heavy lifting of 25 pounds or more.* Make sure to dress warm including hats, gloves, boots, winter coat, etc. Gloves are recommended over mittens for fine motor tasks like helping athletes take off snowshoes and writing scores. You can bring gloves and mittens just in case.
