FunFitness is supported by Northwestern Medicine’s volunteer organization. Licensed Physical Therapists should sign up here.
More than 2.5 million Special Olympics athletes in more than 175 countries participate in games and events organized by Special Olympics each year. The FunFitness program has provided thousands of athletes across Illinois with free education and physical screenings to identify areas that are at risk for injury during sport competition or daily activities. The athletes of Special Olympics are part of an underserved population and FunFitness helps fill that gap. All volunteers will receive lunch and tshirt.
