Description:
*If merchandise gets sold out Friday evening, we will cancel this shift and notify volunteers.*
Volunteers needed at our merch table to help sell our awesome signature swag. Duties include sorting, sales and smiles.
Qualifications: Since this merchandise volunteer helps handle money, you must become certified as a Class A volunteer. This involves a General Orientation about Special Olympics NY, Protective Behaviors on working safely with athletes, agreements, and a background check. The online course takes about 1 hour to complete. Once you complete the training, please notify Sara, smassa@nyso.org.
Please have a can-do, flexible attitude with ability to be on your feet for stretches of time.
