Special Smiles is supported by volunteers from local dental organizations and clinics. Dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and students should sign up here.
More than 2.5 million Special Olympics athletes in more than 175 countries participate in games and events organized by Special Olympics each year. The Special Smiles program has provided thousands of athletes across Illinois with free dental screenings and oral health and hygiene education. The athletes of Special Olympics are part of an underserved population and Special Smiles help fill that gap. All volunteers will receive lunch and event tshirt.
